A Letter from Our Presidents

Dear NSBE Partner,

Thank you for considering a partnership with the University of Arizona chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) for the 2024-2025 school year!

Professional development remains central to our mission. Throughout the year, we host workshops on resume writing, interview preparation, leadership skills, and financial literacy. Industry professionals are invited to lead technical workshops, career panels, and networking events, offering members invaluable insights and connections to potential employers. These initiatives empower our members to secure internships, co-ops, and full-time employment while preparing them for lifelong professional success.

A key priority this year is increasing attendance at the 2025 NSBE National Convention in Chicago, Illinois—a flagship event that offers career fairs, technical workshops, leadership training, and networking opportunities with thousands of NSBE members from across the nation. The convention is a life-changing experience for our members, providing access to internships, co-op opportunities, job offers, and mentorship that shapes their professional journeys. However, travel expenses and registration fees remain significant obstacles for many students. With your support, we aim to cover flights, registration, and lodging so more of our members can attend this transformational event and benefit from the opportunities it provides.

By partnering with us, you directly empower the next generation of culturally responsible Black engineers, providing resources and opportunities that shape their future. Your investment ensures that these talented students have access to mentorship, professional development, and valuable experiences like the NSBE National Convention.

We would love to discuss how we can create a meaningful partnership together. Please reach out to us at uansbepresident6@gmail.com if you have any questions or need further information.

Thank you for your consideration and support of the future of engineering. We look forward to working with you!

Best regards,
